1st day : ARRIVAL IN ROME
Arrival of the clients at Rome airport, welcome and transfer
by private bus to the hotel and check-in. In the afternoon
guided tour of the antique Rome: from Piazza Venezia to the
Foro Romano, to the Colosseum, symbol of Rome and further
on to the Campidoglio ... Free dinner and overnight stay
at the hotel.
2nd day: ROME
Breakfast in the hotel. Meeting with the guide and half day
city tour with Piazza San Pietro and the Vatican Museums with
the Sixtin Chapel. In the afternoon continue the visit to San
Giovanni in Laterano, Santa Maria Maggiore, San Paolo Fuori
le Mura. At the end some free time for shopping in the most
famous streets of Rome before the dinner in a typical restaurant.
Return to the hotel and overnight stay.
3rd day PIENZA - SIENA
Breakfast in the hotel. Check-out in the hotel and departure
by private bus to Tuscany. Short stop for lunch and visit
of the Renaissance town of Pienza. In the afternoon continue
to Siena and guided city tour with the church of San Domenico,
the Cathedral, Piazza del Campo ... Continue by bus to the
hotel: check-in and typical Tuscan dinner. Overnight stay
in the hotel.
4th day CHIANTI TOUR with WINE AND OLIVE OIL TASTING
Breakfast in hotel. Departure for the Chianti tour. Short stop
in a famous wine estate producing Chianti wine for a tasting
with a sommelier. Light-lunch at the winery with beautiful
views over the surrounding hills. In the afternoon transfer
to a farm producing olive oil and guided tasting with an
expert. Return to the hotel for dinner and overnight stay.
5th day COOKING CLASS – SAN GIMIGNANO
Breakfast in the hotel. Transfer to the cookery school in Siena
and begin of the cooking class and after some technical notions
the clients will prepare some typical Tuscan recipes. Lunch
with the chefs and consignment of the recipe-book. After
lunch transfer to San Gimignano and guided tour of the medieval
town. Dinner in a typical restaurant in the town centre.
Return to the hotel and overnight stay.
6th day FLORENCE
Breakfast in the hotel. Check-out in the hotel and transfer
to Florence and meeting with the guide for the city tour
of the capital of Renaissance art and architecture! Guided
visit of Piazzale Michelangelo, the churches of S. Spirito
and Carmine, Palazzo Pitti, Ponte Vecchio and Palazzo della
Signoria. At the end visit of the “Accademia delle
Belle Arti” to admire the original of Michalangelo’s
David. Free time for shopping and check-in to the hotel.
Dinner at a famous Tuscan restaurant in the historical centre.
Return to the hotel and overnight stay.
7th day FLORENCE - VENICE
Breakfast in the hotel. Check-out in the hotel and departure
to Venice. Arrival in Venice and meeting with the guide for
the city tour with Palazzo Ducale, Piazza San Marco with
its marvellous Basilica, the Ponte dei Sospiri ... Check-in
to the hotel. Dinner and overnight stay. Possibility of an
excursion with a private boat on the Canal Grande.
8th day VENICE
Breakfast in the hotel. Check-out and departure of the group.
